One Account, One Device: What This Means for Your Whoscall Security
Your safety is our top priority. As we continue to build a more advanced and secure anti-scam platform, we are implementing a new security measure to protect your personal account: the One Account, One Device policy (starting 9/30).
This policy may sound like a restriction, but it's actually an exciting enhancement to your security and flexibility that allows you to use your Whoscall account across different devices like never before.
If you are a Whoscall Premium subscriber, you don’t need to worry about changing your payment channel to match the device system you are using.
What Does "One Account, One Device" Mean?
Simply put, your unique Whoscall account can now only be logged in and actively used on one single device at a time of your choosing, on either Android or iOS.
For your convenience, your Whoscall account is now your key to your personal digital safe-space. Just like you can only open one door with a single key at a time, your account can only be active on one phone at a time. When you log in on a new device, the old one will be securely logged out to prevent any unauthorized use.
To enjoy this new flexibility and security, all Free users & Premium users will need to link their Whoscall account with a social ID, such as your Google, Facebook, or Apple ID. This connection allows our system to securely recognize you across different devices, ensuring a seamless experience and enhanced protection whenever you switch phones.

Premium subscribers,
if your subscription payment was tied to a specific operating system we’re happy to inform you that we’ve made subscriptions hassle free! You may keep paying for your subscription through the operating system of your choice while also having the freedom to switch your active device between Android and iOS as often as you need.
With the launch of our new Premium Duo and Premium Family plans, when you invite other members to your subscription you can also rest assured that their access will remain as secured as yours whether they log in from Android or iOS.

Why This Is a Good Thing for Your Protection
This new policy ensures a more streamlined and secure experience for those of you using the Free version and for all subscription members if you are a Premium subscriber. It provides two major benefits:
Enhanced Security: By limiting each account to one active device, we prevent unauthorized logins and ensure that Free users, or members of a Whoscall Premium subscription, are the only ones who can access Whoscall at any given moment. This adds a critical layer of security to everyone's Whoscall account.
Ultimate Flexibility: Free users and members of a Whoscall Premium subscription now have the freedom to seamlessly use their accounts across different operating systems. Whether they use an Android phone or an iPhone, or if they switch devices, their Whoscall account can go with them. (Note: Whoscall is currently not supported on Android or iOS tablets).
